Love this place. Great service at the bar with Kristina. Super nice and attentive.
Be patient. They are busy but it's worth the wait.
Bar B Que is delicious.
Double decker has pork and brisket. So good.
Amazing Mac and cheese and fries were great.
All the meat plates are fantastic.
Really love this place. -

Cheddar biscuits are the BEST. can even buy the mix to make your own from location.
Simple restaurant concept, barbecue and fixings.
The bartenders always ready for a great conversation.
Drive thru is a game changer when the fam needs to eat in a hurry. -

I really wanted to like Jim 'N Nicks and it was okay, but I didn't love it. I had received recommendations to eat here from a friend and as soon as I pulled up I loved that they have veteran's parking right by the door, but that's kind of where things went downhill.
I ordered deviled eggs and a pig on a bun with fries. I wasn't offered a choice of sauce (although it is clearly marked on the menu) so I'm not even sure which sauce was on my sandwich. The deviled eggs were tasty. I didn't love the sauce on my sandwich but the meat was very good and moist. I am glad they let the meat shine, because it was truly the best part of the meal (as it should be). The fries were terrible, they were a dried out shriveled pile on my plate.
The service was lack luster. No one was rude, but definitely not attentive. After waiting several minutes for my check I started timing and it was at least another 10 minutes before I received my check. I was very clearly done eating as I was playing a game on my phone.
I wouldn't be entirely opposed to eating here again, but probably wouldn't go out of my way. -

BEWARE: check your food before you leave with your take out! This is a great bbq place but the past 2 times we have ordered take out they have had missing side items. It's really disappointing because we don't realize something is missing until we get home and then don't want to go back out just to retrieve the side items. When we have called to complain they tell us to tell the manager next time and they will give us the side item. That's nice but I hope this review will encourage a better system to double and triple check orders for customers so this doesn't happen anymore.

Theres no place like home....in the Carolina. I have been in need of some good old Carolina bbq. This place hit the spot and some. When you walk it greeted with southern hospitality. Once seated they bring to the table what's considered cheese biscuits but you don't taste cheese, but more of a cake. My team asked for a few more baskets, they were that good. The food was amazing all over it. Try the meat combo so you'll have the opportunity to get a taste of various different meats. A must have pull pork, brisket and of course ribs. This place will not disappoint you.
